Di satu petang di pejabat, saya sedang berdiskusi bersama General Manager dari Australia Steve bersama seorang lagi rakan pejabat, Gaek Ting.

 Steve : Nadiah, how about Chan Sow Lin cost for Architecture works?

Aku : We have come out with the figure amount about 16 million.

* Sambil aku menghulurkan breakdown kepada Steve untuk dilihat

Steve : You make it 20 million. Put in relocation for utilities 2 million and provision for working under live rail environment 3 million.

* Dengan penuh keyakinan aku pun tulis :- a) Relocation of Utilities RM2 million b) Provision of Life Rail Environment RM3 million

Steve : It is not life, it is live, like living

Aku : Ha. Ha. Okay. Okay

* Sambil betulkan life jadi live, aku gelakkan je diri sendiri. Banyak nak kena buat kalau nak kerja dekat Australia ni.
